Raymond P. Clark

U.S. Veteran

Raymond P. Clark, 90 of Lewistown, Missouri died Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 8:10 PM at his home in Lewistown.

The son of Ray and Sophia Mensendick Clark was born on April 24, 1921 at Ewing, Missouri.

He was united in marriage to Allene Zuspann on October 27, 1943 at Ewing, Missouri. She preceded him in death on October 15, 2008.

Raymond attended the Lewistown Christian Church. He was a Corporal in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II as a medical technician. He received the American Theatre Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and WWII Victory Medal. He worked as manager of Massey-Harris Implement, owned & operated Clark’s Garage over 20 years, was a mechanic for Zuspann Motors, Heetco, and retired from Bevel Fertilizer all of Lewistown.

He is survived by three children, Karan Clark of Lewistown, Mo. Patricia Stambaugh & husband Ed of LaGrange, Mo. and Raechelle Amolle of Columbia, Mo.; six grandchildren, Edwin Clark & wife Angie, Scott Stambaugh & wife SoYong, Samantha Huckstep & husband Brent, Sandra Farr & husband Scott, Tory Tasco and Terry Clark; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Habel & wife Ruby of Peoria, Il and George Clark & wife Bernice of Sutter, Il; two sisters, Freda Sibert of Sun City, Az. and Alvera Roberts of St. Joseph, Mo. and several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter & son-in-law, Barbara & Fred Blessing, Jr., one brother and two sisters.

Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Lewistown Cemetery, Lewistown, Missouri with Jackie Kennedy officiating with Military Honors by Lewis County Memorial Post # 578.

Memorials may be made to the Family of Raymond Clark.
